AAA’s basic, State-approved driver education course for Connecticut’s new teen drivers

• 8 hours classroom instruction
• Includes DMV-required two hour Parent-Teen class
• Qualify for DMV road test 180 days from permit issue date

Age 18 and older

AAA’s basic, State-approved driver education course for Connecticut’s new adult drivers

• 8 hours classroom instruction
• Qualify for DMV road test 90 days from permit issue date

DRIVING LESSONS

Learn to safely operate a motor vehicle in today’s complex traffic environment

  • Conducted by certified driving instructors in specially-equipped driver training vehicles
  • 2 hour private driving lessons are available

DMV TESTING SERVICES

Take your road test at the DMV office in our driving school vehicle

  • AAA Driving School vehicles are pre-inspected and ready for your DMV road test
  • Unescorted Option – meet our driving instructor at the DMV office
  • Escorted Option – our driving instructor provides to and from travel (offered in limited areas)
Testing services requires successful completion of at least one driving lesson with AAA .

ROADWISE DRIVER FOR SENIORS – ONLINE

How to Drive Online is a supplemental program which delivers essential elements of safe driving in an interactive and innovative way. This program aims to ensure safe driving habits are developed and maintained for life.
