How do I accept my contingent offer of employment?

To accept your contingent offer, please follow the instructions provided by your Talent Acquisitions Advisor verbally and through the offer follow-up email.

What are the next steps after I complete signing my offer via the candidate portal?

After signing your offer and providing your government identifier, you can expect to receive an email from either our vendor and/or HR Shared Service team. This email will contain instructions to initiate the background and drug screening process.

What should I expect regarding the pre-employment background check process?

Our pre-employment background check ensures compliance with company policies and includes standard pre-employment county, national criminal background checks, and a drug screening. Please note offers are contingent based on a satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results including criminal, drug, state, and/or vendor specific screenings. This may include ability to obtain necessary Membership license (or others) as required to perform the essential functions of the position. Certain driving roles may require additional screenings, including but not limited to, physical examinations (DOT and Fit for Duty), motor vehicle record reviews, and other assessments. You will be notified of any specific additional requirements and steps to complete this process.

My background check is complete; what’s next?

Once your pre-employment checks are successfully completed and results have returned, your Talent Acquisition Advisor will be in touch to confirm your start date and time for your first day.

What is a fitness for duty exam?

AAA Club Alliance is committed to upholding the highest standards in workplace safety. As part of that commitment, we require that all new hires in positions AAA Club Alliance has identified as “safety sensitive” participate in various pre-employment testing, which includes Comprehensive Pre-Employment Post-Offer assessments to ensure they can safely perform the job for which they are hired. A Comprehensive Pre-Employment Post-Offer assessment is a job simulation under the supervision of a licensed physician or physical therapist. The licensed physician or physical therapist will administer and oversee the job simulation, monitoring a candidate’s ability to perform the essential functions of the position. A candidate must be found capable of performing the job before they are officially hired and can begin working at AAA Club Alliance.

As a new hire, when do my benefits start?

As a new Associate, you’ll have immediate access to benefits such as accruing paid time off and participating in our wellness program. You can enroll in medical, dental, and vision coverage starting 30 days after your hire date.

What should I bring with me on my first day?

We are excited to have you on the team! We ask that you bring your documents to complete your I-9, a notepad, a pen since you may want to write down new information during training, and a positive attitude! Our team may reach out if they need you to bring specific items for your first day.

I’ve lost my Social Security Card; how do I replace it?

Please contact the Social Security office for assistance in obtaining a replacement. You can find most information and request a replacement on their website. Remember to bring your receipt for the new Social Security card request on your first day. Do you get access to the services AAA provides their members as an Associate?

After completion of the New Associate Experience (NAE) program, full-time and part-time Associates are provided a complimentary membership up to the AAA Premier Battery coverage level. A spouse or dependent family member living in the same household may be added to the membership under the same coverage for 50% the standard rate. You receive all the services we provide our members which includes, 24/7/365 roadside assistance, discounted car care services, member-only discounts from over 30,000 retailers, personalized trips through our Travel Agent service, and more!
