The entrepreneurial agency ownership opportunity
What makes this opportunity different? It's the focus on our members.
The AAA mission is to provide members safety, security and peace of mind to enjoy life’s journey.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility of running your own brick-and-mortar AAA Insurance office and have the power of one of America’s most trusted and recognized brands behind you.
The AAA Legacy
Make a name for yourself—with the help of ours
As an Entrepreneurial Agent (EA), you’ll own and grow a business focused on our members’ needs. You’ll share the AAA vision. And, you’ll benefit from—and build on—the AAA legacy.
A century-plus of "doing what's right"
Created in 1902, AAA today is a federation of 30 affiliated clubs serving 57 million members in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The AAA Club Alliance Inc. is the third largest in the federation. It serves over 6 million AAA Members in 13 states and D.C.

Driven by a vision to “do what’s right,” we’ve grown to provide a variety of services and benefits when and where our members need them. We focus on the “big things” in life: safety and security, insurance, personal finance and quality time.
Much more than roadside assistance
Our members trust us for much more than just help with flat tires and dead batteries. In addition to our renowned roadside assistance program, members rely on AAA for services such as travel, banking and insurance.
Tremendous member loyalty
By doing what’s right—and by focusing on member needs— we’ve earned tremendous loyalty. More than two-thirds of AAA Members have been with us for at least five years; more than half have been with us for at least ten. Many just consider themselves “members for life.”
Build your business with our loyal membership base
What makes being an Entrepreneurial Agent (EA) different? Above all, it’s the opportunity to grow a business by responding to, and serving, AAA Members.
This means, as an EA, you’ll work with a more exclusive and brand-loyal slice of the market than what’s served by the typical insurance agent.
With a set of powerful sales, marketing and CRM tools, your business will tap our pipeline of member leads. Those leads will provide an opportunity to sell an array of products.
Earn industry-competitive commissions
Amplified through bonus programs
Our compensation philosophy is simple: The more an Entrepreneurial Agent (EA) invests in their success, the faster an EA responds to referrals and sells AAA products. And the smarter an EA works to meet AAA Members’ needs, the more that EA is likely to earn.
This means, as an EA, your earnings potential is unlimited through a 100 percent incentive-based compensation structure.
- New business commission—Commission is the core of our compensation structure. You’ll earn industry-competitive commissions for each product line. Your AAA recruiter can review our commission schedule specifics with you.
- Renewal commission—You’ll also enjoy the power of residual earnings on products eligible for renewal commission. For these products, you continue to earn commission with each policy renewal.
- Agency Profit Sharing (APS)—Through APS, you’ll have an opportunity to increase your earnings through profit sharing programs with our agency partners. Your EA recruiting manager can review the APS specifics with you.
Start with a solid foundation
- Step-by-step assistance—The core of your EA onboarding will be a personalized deployment plan. It’ll provide guidance on opening an office and aligning with AAA standards.
- Comprehensive training—You’ll benefit from a personalized training program. Your individual curriculum will be based on an assessment of your experience and abilities, and tailored to help ensure you have the skills to be successful as an EA. Mixing in-person with virtual training, the program may include core business skills, sales, customer service, products and systems.
- Marketing and advertising allowance—Assistance will be provided during startup and is available ongoing as you grow. Your EA recruiting manager can provide more information.
- Tools to help you grow—As your business grows, you’ll benefit from a variety of tools to help you find staff, manage payments and cash flows, develop and modify a business plan, and tap a network of experienced EAs and other business experts. Your AAA recruiter can review specifics with you.
