How do I cancel or downgrade my membership?

Please have the Primary Member call our Member Services department at 1-866-MEMBERS (1-866-636-2377) to cancel or downgrade your membership. How many times can I call for Roadside Assistance?

Accepted Answer

Members receive up to four or five service call entitlements per membership year at no charge depending on your AAA coverage level. For any additional calls in the same year, you will still receive service; however, you will be charged for it at a special member rate. How do I add a family member to my membership?

Accepted Answer

You must first be logged in as the primary member in your household. To add a family member to your membership: Go to the Household Members page from the MyAAA dashboard. Select "Add Household Members" and enter their information on the form. Process your payment. You may also contact our Member Services department at 1-866-MEMBERS or visit one of our Local Stores. How many cars are covered by the AAA Membership?

Accepted Answer

Your AAA Membership covers you rather than your vehicle. Any member currently active on the account will be covered for Emergency Road Services in any vehicle they are driving or riding in as long as that type of vehicle is covered. You could be in a friend's car, and you are covered if it breaks down. Many AAA Members forget we cover people, not cars, other family members are not covered when driving your vehicle.
