WHY: Fifty-one Groveland Elementary students will be sworn in as the school’s very first Safety Patrollers. The ceremony will take place in front of the entire student body. The goal of the AAA Safety Patrol program is to foster leadership qualities in school-age children by giving them the responsibility of teaching other students about traffic safety and safety in general on a peer-to-peer basis and serve as models for younger children, who look up to them.
