CINCINNATI, OH (February 14, 2019) — On this Valentine’s Day, AAA is celebrating the elite area restaurants selected for this year’s Four and Five Diamond Awards.
For the fifth year in a row, Orchids at Palm Court located in the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza reigns as Ohio’s only Five Diamond restaurant, joining only 66 others in North America. The coveted 2019 Five Diamond Award restaurants makes up just 0.2 percent of the nearly 32,000 AAA Inspected & Approved restaurants across the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Cincinnati is also home to longtime Four Diamond establishments Boca Restaurant and Nicola’s which are a part of this exclusive group once again. Four Diamond restaurants represent just 2.1 percent of AAA Inspected & Approved establishments offering a distinctive fine-dining experience, employing creative preparations that are skillfully served amid an upscale ambience. These unique qualities are what make AAA Diamond Award winning restaurants very popular choices for special celebrations.
“These establishments go above and beyond to create memorable dining experiences,” said Jenifer Moore, AAA Spokeswoman. “Local AAA Four and Five Diamond restaurants are sure to delight residents and visitors alike, for Valentine’s Day.”
In late January, AAA unveiled local hotels who received the coveted Four Diamond Award:
Cincinnati
21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati
Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza
Renaissance Cincinnati Downtown
The Cincinnatian Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton
The Westin Cincinnati
Covington
