WILMINGTON, DE - October 1, 2020 - In support of social justice and racial equity, AAA Club Alliance Inc. is pleased to announce its financial support of organizations across our service area who are making a difference in local communities. REACH Riverside has been selected for support.

AAA Club Alliance is the third largest AAA club in the national AAA federation and serves more than six million members in Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, DC.

“Our commitment to social justice is demonstrated through our support of organizations who are working to advance racial equity in our communities,” said Tom Wiedemann, President  & CEO of AAA Club Alliance.

Associates at AAA Club Alliance Inc. nominated organizations across our service area and REACH Riverside was chosen by a committee comprised of ACA associates. The committee evaluated each organization against criteria including: a demonstrated history of championing social justice and racial equity on behalf of Black Americans.

TEDx Wilmington Salon

Who's in the Driver's Seat? The Transformation of Transportation

On Tuesday, October 17, 2017, AAA and TEDx Wilmington held the first TEDx Salon dedicated to ideas worth spreading in transportation.

This event had:

  • 12 live talks given by 13 speakers
  • 368 people in attendance at the live event
  • More than 7,500 viewed the event online through Livestream, viewing events, and on the AAA Associate network
  • Online viewers came from all 50 states and approximately 30 countries around the world
