TOLEDO, OH - Thousands will likely use AAA this weekend but not just when their cars break down. Their AAA card can also help them save on school supplies, electronics, and more.

AAA encourages parents and teachers to use their AAA memberships to take advantage of additional savings this weekend as Ohio’s annual sales tax holiday kicks into gear allowing Ohioans to shop for select clothing and supplies—sales tax free from Friday, August 3 to Sunday, August 4. During the holiday, the following items will be exempt from the combined state and local sales and use tax:

· Clothing priced at $75.00 per item or less;

· School supplies priced at $20.00 per item or less; and

· School instructional material priced at $20.00 per item or less.

These A+ discounts are available to anyone with a AAA card:

Electronics

HP – AAA members can save up to 45 percent off HP products during the Back to School sale. Offers can be combined with the everyday AAA offers. Valid August 1-31, 2019. Available online or by phone only. Discounts will be applied when purchased through AAA.com/hp

Dell - Dell is providing a limited-time, AAA-exclusive offer as an alternative to the everyday 10 percent coupon. Members can access exclusive AAA bundled offers with instant savings of $100 to over $400 on recommended systems. Members will also receive a bundled warranty of 4 years of Pro Support Plus on all systems, which includes North American based support with accidental damage coverage. Clothing, Shoes and Eyewear

Tanger Outlets - AAA members can save 25 percent off any single sale item at participating Tanger Outlet stores July 19 – August 25. Members can receive their 25 percent coupon at the shopper services counter.

Reebok Outlet Stores – AAA members save 20 percent off the total purchase price at all U.S. Reebok Outlet stores. Members simply present a valid membership card at time of checkout to receive discount.

Crocs - AAA members save 25 percent at all Crocs-owned retail and outlet stores or online at AAA.com/crocs. When stopping in-store, members save an additional $15 when spending $75 or more. AAA membership must be validated online or by presenting membership card at the time of purchase. Valid July 1 – August 31.

LensCrafters – Save 50 percent off retail price of lenses with purchase of a complete pair of prescription glasses, including prescription sunglasses, as well as a 15 percent discount on lenses or frames when purchased separately. 

Target Optical – Save $10 off complete pair purchases of glasses and sunglasses (Rx or non-prescription). AAA members also save $10 off frames only purchases and $5 off lenses only purchases.

Glasses.com – On orders of $200 or more, AAA Members will receive 25 percent off the total order and free basic lenses or 25 percent off lens upgrades. On orders below $200, AAA Members will receive 15 percent off the total order and free basic lenses or 15 percent off lens upgrades.

Supplies for Students and Teachers

The UPS Store – AAA members get up to 30 percent off on-demand print projects submitted online at AAA.com/theupsstore. In-store savings include 15 percent off a new mailbox, print/copy services, packing/office supplies and more; 5 percent off UPS shipping. 

Office Depot/OfficeMax - Save up to 75 percent off on Best Value Items - additional discounts on over 93,000 products in-store and online. Members must create a free account and print a store purchasing card to receive their discount (The AAA Membership card will not be accepted for discounts). Members can shop online or bring this store purchasing card to any Office Depot or OfficeMax location and present the card to the cashier upon checkout. All available discounts will be immediately applied to their purchase and the savings will be displayed on the receipt. AAA members who use their card for discounts save an average of $91 per year. Yet new membership starts at just $57 a year, a price local drivers find well worth it for roadside rescue peace of mind.
