Thieves can steal your car with a SARA attack. Signal Amplification Relay Attack (SARA) is when car thieves use your smart key's radio transmissions to steal your car.
How does this work? Clever car thieves now use a 2-step process to steal your car. A thief with a transceiver can receive your smart key's RF transmissions and relay it to his partner near your car. The receiver then relays the signal to your car allowing him to open, start and drive away with your car.
How can you prevent this? An RFID-Blocking Smart Key Holder on your smart key will block RF signals from being transmitted. This means that a thief with a transceiver will not be able to receive the RF transmissions, protecting your car and belongings inside.
