There’s never a convenient time to have car trouble. You’ve always got somewhere you need to be—or at the very least, somewhere you’d rather be. Today, AAA is investing in technology that will change how you request roadside assistance forever, keeping you better connected to help as it comes to your rescue to get you back on your way.
WHEN YOU HAVE A BREAKDOWN
Using feedback from Members and new technology, AAA has launched a streamlined and simplified process for you to request roadside assistance to make getting help, faster. Now, when you need to request roadside assistance, all you’ll need is your AAA Membership number. Your name, address, phone number, and vehicle information will appear automatically without you having to provide them, regardless if you call, use the AAA Mobile app, your computer via AAA.com, or Alexa or Google to request for roadside assistance. You’ll also be able to easily let us know whether you have a dead battery, a flat tire, or some other issue.
If you’re not driving your normal vehicle, or you’re in a ride share or a friend’s car, just snap a picture of the rear of the car to provide us with the information we need to dispatch help.
If you need a tow, you can enter the auto repair facility or other location you wish to be towed to. All this will be done digitally in minutes.
ONCE THE DRIVER HAS BEEN DISPATCHED
Once your driver is on their way, you’ll see a photo of your driver with their name, credentials, and ETA, and can track their progress in real time. You’ll have a much more realistic estimation of your wait time so you know exactly what to expect.
THE BOTTOM LINE
For more than a century, we’ve been the name motorists rely on when things don’t go as planned, and with our improved process to get you roadside assistance, you’re more protected than ever so you have the confidence to roam wherever the road takes you.
