Celebrate Route 66’s 100th Anniversary at AAA’s Road Fest
Join AAA June 27–28, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for a family-friendly festival honoring the history, culture, and legacy of the Mother Road

Route 66 celebrates its centennial this year, and AAA is revving up a Road Fest you won’t want to miss. The festival takes place June 27–28, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

A highlight of the event is The Journey, an interactive exhibit that chronicles the evolution of the Mother Road from its inception in 1926 with a curated collection of artifacts, photos and videos showcasing the highway’s impact on American travel and culture. Other attractions include displays of classic cars and vintage RVs, family-friendly activities, and guest speakers sharing stories and insights about Route 66.
Oklahoma boasts more than 400 miles of the epic highway, and attendees are encouraged to extend their visit beyond the festival grounds to explore the state’s stretch of the highway and its numerous landmarks, including the Blue Whale in Catoosa and the Round Barn in Arcadia.
The Road Fest takes place at the SageNet Center at Expo Square.
