Mr. Tim Mayes was the gentleman who helped with my dads car. My dad passed away and I was trying to drive it at least once a week, but forgot to and of course the battery died. Mr. Mayes took the time to explain to me the importance of not just starting the car, but to drive it for awhile. He was so professional, courtesy and good natured. All the attributes I would want my own son to have. Hang on to him. Give him a raise. Bravo!!

I have been with AAA since 201 and have received great service. The receptionist when I called in the other day was very professional, understood my needs and as a result of being a long-standing patronage was able to offered me a discount that I wasn't even aware of. She reviewed the different roadside packages that were adequate of my needs and also offer other roadside assistance programs. Her personality and salesmanship techniques were impeccable. It's people like her that shine for businesses and are great asset. I would definitely recommend and have recommended family members and others to acquire AAA services

Called AAA when my wife needed a jump but that didn't help so we had it towed to the local AAA shop. that shop said the entire wiring harness had to be replaced for about 1k parts and labor and fees. I didn't believe it so I had it towed to another shop further away that we trusted more who found out that when AAA jumped the car they blew a fuse and that is all that had to be replaced. the fuse was proprietary but only cost $35. when I complained to AAA they offered to reimburse me for all but the most costly portion, the tow to the shop that was further away. the AAA legal rep said that as long as the first shop is capable of fixing the problem then they won't pay for a second tow. with this logic, if all you need is a timing belt and the shop quotes you the cost for an entire new engine, they won't pay for the cost to tow it to a different shop. pure insanity. never getting a AAA membership again.

This is so disheartening. I remember when I was young my mother relied on AAA for our roadside and road trips across the country. We wanted to join and also cover our daughter. I think I'm going to give my auto insurance a checkup.

Do not purchase Disney tickets from this AAA. Long story short, they admitted to having a bad batch of Kids Disney tickets they neglected to get rid off. They sold me voided tickets. They offered me a refund because they were aware of the issue. They said we just need you to bring the credit card you paid with and the tickets. Brought them in to get my refund and then the run around began. Now they need to do research. Got a call a few days later and was told that I need to call Disney to resolve the issue, as if I bought the tickets from Disney. Called the AAA call center to complain about the branch and issue still no response or resolve in over a month! Terrible service.

ZERO stars is what these USELESS arrogant obnoxious FRAUDS DESERVE. Save your money and take your business elsewhere. Whatever they tell you about “service “ is a complete lie. If you want a snide arrogant tow truck driver / company that keeps you waiting for about TWO hours use these crook.

HORRIBLE COMPANY, HORRIBLE PLACE . You should avoid this dishonest company if you can. This company deserves zero stars but they don't have that option. Horrible customer service and their employees are rude, arrogant, unhelpful lowlife jerks. They'll of course post a meaningless response but anyone reading this should remember they are a bunch of snide weasels that will take your money and screw you over.

Wish I could have been notified that my AAA was no longer allowed to be used , after my family and I got stranded n they towed my car n asked a few hours later to get it towed to a shop I was told I used up my privileges and my family and I had to walk from downtown Wilmington to Kirkwood hwy ... My 5 year old daughter has special needs and I am disabled so I'm not happy whatsoever with AAA

I went to use a gift card purchased during a "No-Fee" event about 2 years ago and found out the value has evaporated. I bought several cards at that time and have given them as gifts over time - now I don't know if I gave people empty gift cards. Customer Service couldn't help in any way. Infuriated, I called to cancel my AAA membership and was told I could not get a partial year refund. Two examples in 1-day of their terrible customer service.

The customer service agents need to pay attention to their attitudes! I had to speak with 3 agents (1 on the Premier desk~ very snooty, 2 others in The Wilmington branch office, 1 very nasty the other quite professional) to find out if my membership was secure and paid for after receiving 3 bills once I had made my payment. If I didn't travel so much, would certainly give up my membership. Definitely looking into other avenues.

After many years of membership I got a free road assistance through my Car Insurance Cia. When called AAA to cancel and be reimbursed, I was told there is no reimbursement!!!! And my membership just got renewed!!!!Talking about definition of a schem!!!!!

I have not been a AAA member for more than 10 years, but still keep getting their membership forms. I had one year where they went into my banking account and stole money from me to pay for membership fees. I've never done electronic banking with their company. I've even gone through the Better Business Bureau in an attempt to stop receiving their forms, but to no avail. There was a time when being a AAA member was something good for me, but not anymore. I guess they've become desperate over the last 10 years. I would rank them lower than one star if they had that level of ranking.

Used the towing service yesterday for the first time in several years. I only wish I could give them a 6. I had my truck at Sears in the Concord Mall to have tires installed. They called me to tell me that I had a brake problem. That they could/would not fix it and it could not be driven. I told them I had Driven it to them, still no offer of help. So totally frustrated I had to find another shop to take If to, and figure out how to get it to them. I called AAA and from getting a human being In a very short time to shaking the hand of the tow truck driver as he was taking my Car to the shop it was an absolute pleasure. I kept thinking this is just going to easy, I know Something is going to go wrong, it did not. I kept thinking about how my wife would do if she needed them And simply relaxed knowing she would be secure and well taken of. Think about this The truck came to get me within a one hour time frame (actually mush less). I was called, and sent a text Telling me when the driver would be there. He was 4 minutes early. I told my both children that I wanted them to call and sign up and I would pay for it. Really, this is the kind of service each one of us hopes to get close to and it was delivered to me As if I were their only client. Kudos to all for a job done perfectly.

Exceeds expectations! First thing you notice when you walk in is the bright and clear layout - Service, Member Services and Insurance. Went in to pay registration and update address and it took less than 3 minutes to have the new registration and sticker in my hand. No need to go to the DMV. Free wi-fi, complimentary coffee or tea. Workshop is prompt and practical. Great technicians, pricing and turnaround.

My new car insurance provides roadside assistance so I sadly had to cancel my AAA membership. I spoke to a very rude supervisor and he told me that THEY will keep my money, which is $76. I am currently unemployed and this money is ours and it is important for me to have all the funds I can have allowing me to take care of my wife and 3 year old daughter. I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL I GET MY MONEY BACK SO I HOPE THE BAD PRESS IS WORTH IT TO THEM!!! I asked them to please call me and tell me that they changed their position and that they will give us a 66% partial refund since again, we do not need AAA service now. NO NEWS YET...WHEN THEY GIVE ME OUR FUNDS, I WILL UPDATE THIS POOR REVIEW!!!

Outsourced calls overseas, but the bosses in DE says they don't. Ripped off with towing charges with plus membership, membership renewal fraudulently doubled, dozen calls, many transfers, not fixed.

Horrible customer service. Claim adjusters and appraisers are rude. Never return phone calls. You have to call a few times in order to reach someone.
