LEARN MOREHow does Roadside Assistance work?
AAA Roadside Assistance comes to you when the unexpected happens. If you’re having car problems, simply contact us and we’ll send someone out to help. You can request assistance by calling 1-800-AAA-HELP, by using the AAA mobile app, or by visiting AAA.com.
When you contact us, you’ll be asked to provide your membership number. Don’t have your AAA membership card with you? It’s okay. We can still verify that you are a member, so don’t hesitate to ask for help if you need it.
Remember, you can request Roadside Assistance even if you’re not driving your usual car or if you’re a passenger. For example, if a friend gives you a ride somewhere or you borrow a friend’s car because your car is in the shop and the car breaks down along the way, you can still use your AAA Roadside Assistance plan to get help.
Yes. Day or night, we’re here to help. However, battery service may have time restrictions and may not be available in all areas.
The price of a AAA Roadside Assistance plan depends on the plan you choose. We offer a selection of plans with varying levels of coverage to suit your driving needs. Whether you typically stay close to home or need extra peace of mind for long road trips, we have plans to help you keep moving.
If your car breaks down and can’t be driven, we’ll send a tow truck out to take you to a mechanic. We’ll also come out and help if you get a flat tire, if you run out of gas, if your car battery dies, or if your car gets stuck in the mud or in a ditch. Locksmith services are also available, with coverage depending on your membership level.
All AAA Roadside Assistance plans include bicycle coverage at no additional charge. Coverage for RVs and motorcycles can be added at additional cost.
Yes. When you have a AAA Roadside Assistance plan, your benefits extend to any car you drive or occupy, including rental cars.
