Winter Weather Alert

At AAA, the safety of our Members and our Associates is our top priority. Due to deteriorating road conditions in some areas, we are limiting tow distances and prioritizing service requests from those Members stranded at the roadside and not in a safe location. We appreciate your patience and understanding of our Members who value our ongoing commitment to quality service.

Currently we have the following restrictions in place for the states most impacted by the current winter storm:

Indiana

Under a level 3 (Red) Snow emergency. Snow continues to fall and blow, with an increase in winds.

  1. Home restriction for Indiana and continue with the 20-mile tow restriction
  2. Car Care locations closing at 4pm on 1/6 statewide

Ohio

Most counties are under a level one or level two snow emergency. Snow is forecasted to continue through 4 p.m. this afternoon, with increasing winds causing snow drifts. Several highways are closed due to traffic accidents.

    • 20-mile towing restriction statewide
  2. Rural Central Ohio
    • Home restriction & 20-mile towing restriction
  3. Cincinnati Metro & Northern KY
    • Home restriction & 20-mile tow restriction
  4. Car Care locations closing at 4pm on 1/6 in the Dayton, Columbus and Cincinnati areas

Kentucky

  1. SE KY
    • 20-mile towing restriction
  2. Central KY and Lexington
    • 20-mile towing restriction
  3. Car Care locations closing at 4pm on 1/6 statewide

West Virginia

  1. Continue with home and towing restrictions for the remainder of the day
