DAY 1

 

09:00 – Hike through Watkins Glen State Park

Watkins Glen State Park is located along the edge of Seneca Lake and is popular for locals and visitors alike. Pack your hiking boots and a camera, as this state park is home to 19 waterfalls along a two-and-a-half-mile trail.

 

11:30 – Refuel at Ports Café

Feast on local fare of the Finger Lakes at Ports Café. Open since 1994, this Finger Lakes favorite features an eclectic, diverse menu that is constantly changing with each season.

 

13:00 – Ride the waves at Roseland Wake Park

Located on Muar Lake, Roseland Wake Park is the only Cable Wake Park in the Northeastern United States, letting up to nine riders ride up ramps and rails while learning to wakeboard. The full-sized cable system guides riders along the course, letting beginners and experts alike ride the waves.

 

16:00 – Walk the tightrope at Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventure Park

View the beautiful landscape of the Finger Lakes while you get your adrenaline pumping at Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventure Park. Offering over seven ropes courses, ziplines, ladders and bridges, this park is designed to build confidence, promote team work and even offers a kid’s course for little ones.

 

19:00 – Have dinner at The Waterfront

Take in spectacular views of Keuka Lake while enjoying a four-course meal at The Waterfront. This lakeside restaurant offers free live music, fresh steamed clams and only serves wine and microbrews from local wineries.

33:00 – Take a vineyard and winery tour of Fox Run Vineyards

You can’t visit the Finger Lakes without touring the many vineyards and wineries of the region. Opened in 1989, Fox Run Vineyards is a family-owned estate that was formerly a 19thand 20thcentury dairy farm. This vineyard also hosts an annual Garlic Festival that is a huge hit for tourists and locals alike.

37:00 – Continue your day of wine tours at Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery

After stopping by Fox Run Vineyards, head over to Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery – a fourth generation vineyard open for over half a century. This winery features an exclusive 1886 tasting room and a 1962 reserve tasting where visitors can sample wine flights of the vineyard’s unique grape varieties.

 

42:00 – Shop at the Windmill Farm & Craft Market

This popular shopping market hosts over 10,000 visitors and 200 shops each weekend, making it a must-see for Finger Lakes visitors. Admission to the open-air market is free, hosting shops with products ranging from baked goods to home décor to produce.

 

44:00 – Enjoy a final dinner at FLX Table

Make your last evening in the Finger Lakes memorable at FLX Table. This innovative and interactive dining experience has no barrier between the dining area and the kitchen, intending each meal to be an intimate experience between the guests and the chef.
