Lisa Sands

Lisa Sands has been the Editorial Director for the award-winning publication, AAA Traveler Worldwise, since its launch in 2014. A 25 year veteran of the travel industry, Lisa has led the marketing and content strategies for some of the country’s largest tour operators, leisure travel agencies, and corporate travel management firms. In addition to being a contributing writer for AAA World and hosting the video series AAA TV, Lisa’s work has been recognized by the North American Travel Journalists Association with a Silver Award for writing; and by the Walt Disney Company, Universal Orlando, and Royal Caribbean for marketing innovation. Lisa’s favorite travel experiences include immersion in the cuisine and cultures of the world’s most intriguing destinations; particular favorites include Portugal, Scotland, South Africa and Russia.
