AAA Members Planned a Road Trip for Influencers: Here's How it Went

 

Travel content creators Mahdi Gaines and LaNaiza Kelly are known for sharing their globetrotting adventures on Instagram and TikTok under the handle @loveatfirstflight_.

 

The Houston, Texas-based couple has explored destinations from the Caribbean to the Philippines and has shared their journeys with their hundreds of thousands of followers. One type of travel that the couple hadn’t fully experienced was road trip travel, and we thought it was time to change that.

To help Mahdi and LaNaiza experience all the open road has to offer, the AAA team planned an exciting East Coast road trip for the couple. Since the open road is always full of surprises, we added a fun twist—we only shared the starting destination of the road trip with Mahdi and LaNaiza.

As they headed to Richmond, Virginia, to kick off their trip, we advised them that AAA Members were along for the ride and got to plan the rest of the journey. Through a series of interactive polls on social media, AAA Members voted on destinations, restaurants, lodging, and activities to help complete the road trip experience for the couple.

You helped Mahdi and LaNaiza select their Hertz rental car, guided them to Washington D.C. to enjoy the National Mall, helped them experience their first professional hockey game, showed them Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, and ensured they enjoyed some delicious treats along the way.
