Yes, you can add anyone who lives in your home. That includes kids in college, since they live at home but are away at school.

How do I add a family member to my membership?

You must first be logged in as the primary member in your household. To add a family member to your membership: Go to the Household Members page from the MyAAA dashboard. Select "Add Household Members" and enter their information on the form. Process your payment. You may also contact our Member Services department at 1-866-MEMBERS or visit one of our Local Stores. Do Household Members receive the same AAA Membership benefits as the Primary Member?

Yes, Household Members will have access to the same benefits as the Primary Member, including Roadside Assistance and all other services. Household members can be added if they reside in the same household as the Primary Member. This includes children away at college. Even though they receive the same membership benefits as the Primary Member, their annual membership rate is considerably less. This rate is included in the Primary Member's total renewal costs each year. Please review the Membership Benefits Guide for further information on Household Member requirements. How many cars are covered by the AAA Membership?

Your AAA Membership covers you rather than your vehicle. Any member currently active on the account will be covered for Emergency Road Services in any vehicle they are driving or riding in as long as that type of vehicle is covered. You could be in a friend's car, and you are covered if it breaks down. Many AAA Members forget we cover people, not cars, other family members are not covered when driving your vehicle.
