The aptly named Firecracker is a super fun cocktail, that tastes as good as it looks. And though it’s the perfect complement to celebrate the 4th of July, you’ll enjoy this refreshing drink anytime!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1¼ oz. vodka
- 1 oz. lemon juice
- 1 ¼ oz. blue curaçao
- ¾ oz. grenadine
- Splash of simple syrup (To make simple syrup, mix equal parts hot water and sugar until sugar is dissolved.)
HOW TO MAKE:
- Using a tall glass, pour grenadine into the bottom, add ice, and then gently pour curacao over grenadine.
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
- Pour curacao mixture from shaker and watch the colors of the American flag come to life.
