Canada is Reopening to Fully Vaccinated Travelers

Rocky Mountaineer is pleased to share the Canadian Government has announced plans to allow fully vaccinated travelers to enter Canada for non-essential travel beginning August 9, 2021. Things to know:

  • The border remains closed to travelers who are not fully vaccinated.
  • All travelers must use ArriveCAN (via web or app) to submit their travel information.
  • Fully vaccinated travelers who meet all requirements will not be required to quarantine.
  • To be considered fully vaccinated, the traveler must have received the full series of a vaccine accepted by the Canada government at least 14 days prior to entry. Travelers should carry a paper or digital copy of their vaccination documentation.

Luxury Train Travel Comes to the American Southwest

Rocky Mountaineer's new route, Rockies to the Red Rocks, is filled with highlights best seen by train, including Ruby Canyon, Mount Logan, and the Continental Divide. The train will wind alongside rivers, through mountain ranges, and past ancient rock canyons as it travels between the mile-high city of Denver to the red rock formations of Moab.

The Rockies to the Red Rocks route will be available as a preview season with 40 departures from August to November 2021 and a full season schedule for 2022 and beyond.
