Our comprehensive suite of online and in-classroom courses are state-approved and meet requirements for DMV and traffic court – and may qualify drivers for auto insurance discounts or point reductions*. Whether you’re a new driver preparing to hit the open road, or a motorist looking to stay sharp and safe, trust AAA! We have been your advocate for road and driver safety for more than a century. Program availability varies by state.

Defensive Driving & Driver Improvement

Our nationally-recognized curriculum is used by the U.S. Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps. The program teaches drivers how to prepare the vehicle for optimum visibility, compensate for environmental factors, drive defensively and react to potentially dangerous traffic situations. State-approved courses meet requirements for volunteers, DMV and traffic court – and can qualify drivers for state mandated auto insurance discounts, point reduction, or the ability to earn safe driving credits.

Online Driver Training

Our suite of research-based online learning tools provides a convenient alternative to classroom training. We’ve carefully developed our online courses for new drivers, those with decades of experience – and everyone in between. RoadWise Driver for Seniors

During your personal consultation, our driving instructor will evaluate your driving patterns, identify your strengths/weaknesses and give you helpful suggestions you can use to improve your skills right away.
