Question 5

What is the AAA Diamond Program?

Accepted Answer

The AAA Diamond Program is a trusted hotel rating system designed to help travelers choose accommodations with confidence. Unlike guest-submitted star reviews, AAA Diamond designations are based on in-person inspections conducted by trained AAA professionals using consistent, objective criteria. For more than 80 years, AAA has evaluated hotels for quality, cleanliness, comfort, and overall guest experience, with Diamond levels reflecting the type of stay you can expect, from comfortable overnight stops to upscale and luxury experiences. Many AAA Diamond hotels also feature the “Inspected Clean” designation, which indicates that the property has passed enhanced cleanliness inspections using ATP surface testing—the same technology used in healthcare and food service environments.

Question 6

What is the cancellation or change policy on AAA hotel bookings?

Accepted Answer

Cancellation and change policies for AAA hotel bookings vary by hotel, location, and rate type. Specific terms are provided during the booking process and included in your confirmation details. Travelers should always review the cancellation policy for the rate before completing their reservation.

Question 7

Can I combine AAA hotel discounts with other promotions?

Accepted Answer
