• October 18, 2025 - After breakfast, we'll venture to Cass Scenic Railroad. This new wilderness excursion explores the most remote areas of the Mountain State – some areas so remote that even automobiles cannot access! Take in the sights of West Virginia’s most pristine rivers and enjoy the mountain top views. We'll enjoy a boxed lunch on the train. This evening enjoy dinner at CJ Maggie’s in Elkins, WV, where hearty cuisine and warm hospitality await.
• October 19, 2025 - After breakfast, enjoy the West Virginia Railroad Museum - A cultural resource dedicated to educating visitors and the community about West Virginia’s railroad history. In addition to static exhibits, select pieces of equipment in the collection are restored and operated throughout the year to demonstrate steam, gasoline, and diesel technology and provide visitors with a first-hand experience of our railroad history through the sights, sounds, and sensations of a train ride.
• October 19, 2025 - This afternoon enjoy a train ride on Tygart Flyer. On the trip to the Falls, enjoy a cold cut lunch, which is included in the ticket price. The trip culminates at the High Falls of Cheat, an 18' high, 150' wide waterfall located in one of the most remote and pristine settings in the region. If you’re looking for comfort and spectacular views on a vintage train this is the ride for you! Then, we begin our journey home.
