    • September 10, 2024 - Arrive at the Hampton Inn at Biltmore Village. A delicious dinner this evening will be served at The Stone Ridge Tavern. It is a local family-owned restaurant that is an Ashville favorite.
    • September 11, 2024 - After breakfast, visit the famous Biltmore Estate. This magnificent estate has been featured in films such as "The Swan" with Grace Kelly and "Being There" with Peter Sellers and Shirley MacLaine. The estate was built in the late nineteenth century by George Vanderbilt, and is still owned by his descendants. It remains one of the most prominent examples of the Gilded Age mansions. Our self guided audio tour will guide you through the 250 room chateau
    • September 11, 2024 - After our mansion tour, travel to the nearby Antler Hill Village for lunch on your own with time to browse the shops. Here, we can also visit the Biltmore Estate Winery, and have an opportunity for some tastings. The estate wines have won many awards, and are especially famous for their fine red wines.
    • September 11, 2024 - Later in the afternoon, explore the spectacular gardens. Acres of century-old gardens transform Biltmore's landscape into an ever-changing wonderland of color, textures and shapes. Vanderbilt commissioned Frederick Law Olmsted, (whose works includes New York's Central Park), to design both the formal and natural settings for his estate. This evening, enjoy dinner at the Moose Cafe known for its Southern Style comfort food.
    • September 12, 2024 - After breakfast, you'll board the motorcoach to begin your journey home.
