• March 09, 2025 - This afternoon, arrive in historic Gettysburg and check into the Hilton Garden Inn, Gettysburg. Take some time to freshen up before enjoying a delicious dinner at one of Gettysburg’s oldest and most historic restaurants. Tonight, a very famous Living History Presenter will be joining us! (D)
• March 10, 2025 - Following breakfast, visit the Gettysburg National Military Park, Museum & Visitor Center. Enjoy the exhibits, movies, and Cyclorama. Then, meet your licensed tour guide, venture out for a Battlefield tour, and learn of the three famous days of 1863: The Battle of Gettysburg and home to the most significant battlefield shrine in North America with over 1,000 monuments and cannons.
• March 10, 2025 - Later today, depart for our National Capital! - Washington, DC, and check into the Sheraton Suites, Old Town Alexandria this afternoon for a three-night stay! This evening, enjoy dining at the historic Gatsby’s Tavern. Following dinner, enjoy a tour of the tavern and museum and learn of the many prominent patrons who frequented the Tavern, such as George Washington, John Adams, James Madison, and many others! (B,D)
• March 11, 2025 - After breakfast, depart with our guide for a full-day tour of our Nation’s Capital. Begin with a visit to Arlington National Cemetery and hop aboard the Tour Mobile for a tour around the Cemetery. View the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Eternal Flame marking John F Kennedy’s Grave and visit the Iwo Jima Memorial, one of the largest bronze statues ever cast.
• March 11, 2025 - Then enjoy a tour of the U.S. Capitol Building, a visit to the White House Visitors Center, and a windshield tour with views of the White House, Embassy Row, Supreme Court, Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Georgetown, and much more. Throughout the day, we’ll also enjoy picture stops. Enjoy an early dinner followed by evening sightseeing featuring our nation’s most beloved memorials and monuments dramatically illuminated upon the Washington landscape. (B,D)
• March 12, 2025 - After breakfast, we venture to Mount Vernon, home of George Washington. Enjoy the day exploring this beautiful estate and farm overlooking the Potomac! Tour the grounds and buildings and enjoy a self-guided tour through the home. This afternoon, head to the National Mall to visit the Smithsonian Museum of choice. Enjoy a dinner cruise this evening, viewing majestic Monuments, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The Washington Monument, the Memorial and 14th Bridges and more!(B,D)
• March 13, 2025 - Following breakfast, we’ll check out and depart home with many beautiful memories of our vacation to our nation’s capital. (B)
