3 TIPS TO UNCLUTTER YOUR CAR

KEEPING YOUR CAR CLEAN

A cluttered car can be an embarrassing eyesore when you have a guest passenger. And, depending on the types of objects you have lying around your car, a cluttered car could be dangerous if those objects get hurled around during a collision. Here tips to get your car neat and tidy.

Packing Car during COVID

GET A TINY TRASH CAN
For just a few bucks, you can buy a tiny waste basket and keep it behind the driver’s seat or beside you on the floor of the passenger seat. This way, instead of lining your car with wrappers and empty bottles, you put it all in one place, snatch it up, and empty it quickly without having to scour your entire car. You can hide the trash can in the trunk if someone you want to impress is catching a ride with you.

Cleaning Car

GET A PACK OF DISINFECTING WIPES
Keep a pack of wipes in your glove compartment. The next time you spill coffee on your center console, it won’t sit there for weeks until it’s so caked it takes fifteen minutes to scrub it out. You can clean it up at the end of your drive, or during a long red light, and then chuck the wipe into your new tiny trash can.

GET A TRUNK ORGANIZER
Stop using your trunk the way a child uses their toy chest. Get a trunk organizer and utilize the space wisely. Also, keep only the essentials in your trunk: a spare tire, car jack, first-aid kit, blanket, and water. If you have kids, you can also buy organizers that hang from the backs of the front seats where they can store games, toys, and snacks.

Keep on top of the clutter in your car. When your car looks very clean and you’re proud of it, you’ll have more motivation to keep it that way.
