• September 25, 2025 - Arrive midafternoon in Washington, DC. Stop at the Pentagon 9/11 Memorial Park. The memorial honors the 184 victims of the September 11, 2001, attacks at The Pentagon. At the heart of the memorial 184 illuminated benches are arranged according to the victim's ages, from 3 to 71.
• September 25, 2025 - Stop at the Air Force Memorial. The redesigned Memorial is both BOLD and graceful and truly representational of the Air Force. Then, enjoy a scenic walk around the Tidal Basin to see the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, FDR Memorial, MLK Jr Memorial and more. Then, arrive at Pentagon City Shopping mall for dinner on your own.
• September 26, 2025 - Following breakfast, we'll visit Ford Theatre and Petersen House. Restored as it was the night John Wilkes Booth shot President Abraham Lincoln, Ford's is still an active theater. Reopened in 1968, Ford’s Theatre is one of the most visited sites in Washington DC. Then, Arrive to tour Woodrow Wilson’s House, the house is historically preserved - a time capsule from 1924. Following lunch on your own we will enjoy a guided tour of the US Capitol and the US Library of Congress.
• September 26, 2025 - We will then drive by the NEW Eisenhower Memorial before stopping at The National World War II Memorial. This evening enjoy the Spirit’s Dinner Cruise & Entertainment. Sail along the Potomac River and see the historic and famous sites of our Nation’s Capital from a different perspective.
• September 27, 2025 - This morning we will visit Arlington National Cemetery where we'll see President John F. Kennedy gravesite, U.S. Army Gen. John J. Pershing's gravesite, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Memorial Amphitheater, and the Ord & Weitzel walking gate to see the U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial (Iwo Jima). This afternoon enjoy time on your own to visit your choice of the Smithsonian Institution’s Museums on the National Mall.
• September 27, 2025 - Enjoy an included dinner this evening at Tony & Joe’s Seafood Place at Washington Harbour. This evening we'll continue with an Illuminated Monument Driving Tour. Washington’s grand buildings, memorials, and monuments sparkle and are impressive during the day; but in the evenings they are illuminated, soft, focusing the solid stones and bronzes; fountains and water features shimmer in reflection; shadows darken highlighting the floodlit detail. Impressive during the day stunning at night!
• September 28, 2025 - After Breakfast, We journey to The Korean War Veterans Memorial, The National WWI Memorial and make a stop at the White House for a Photo Opportunity. This morning, we will drive by Washington National Cathedral and stop at The Vietman Veterans Memorial where we will have a boxed lunch. This afternoon enjoy The National Museum of the Marine Corps before heading home with new friends and memories.
